Ensuring an Education for Those Left Behind
Honor our fallen patriots by joining StrategyDriven in providing for their children.
They were selfless patriots. They gave their lives for our country. They kept us free and now we are left as the caretakers of their children. It is our honor and duty to give these children the future their mothers and fathers dreamed of. A college education is key to that bright future.
The Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation provides college scholarships and educational counseling to the children of military personnel who have died in the line of duty. Our goal is to bridge the gap in funding between available sources of grants and scholarships and the total cost of college. We hope to ensure that no child covered by our mission has to go out-of-pocket or take on loans to pay for college.
We cover costs related to undergraduate education: tuition, room and board, books, fees, computers and living expenses. Students can be enrolled in either public or private institutions; colleges, universities and vocational schools are covered.
Who They Serve
Children – whether natural, by marriage or adoption – who have lost a parent in the line of military duty, during combat or peacetime. All branches (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard) and all components (active, reserve and guard) are covered.
What They Have Achieved
Through the generous donations of our patrons, partners, and sponsors, we have:
helped over 630 children of the fallen receive scholarships,
provided $12.3 million in total assistance, and
identified over 6,300 of the nearly 20,000 dependents that have been left behind by troops killed in the line of military duty over the past 35 years.
